My Modalities

My work bridges two worlds: the rigor of Western medicine and the depth of spiritual practice. I earned my medical degree from Brown University and spent nine years as an emergency physician in NYC, grounding my approach in safety and science.

Alongside this, I’ve been a lifelong student of meditation and embodiment—raised in a Hindu yoga ashram, shaped by silent retreats, and guided by teachers across traditions. I hold certifications through Fluence, IFS Institute, OSHO International, and others, and continue to practice Kriya, Hatha, and Kundalini yoga, Vipassana, Tantra, and sound meditation.

From these foundations, my philosophy of psychedelic work emerged. Psychedelics, when held with both rigor and reverence, open the mind and heart to create real, lasting change. My approach blends scientific grounding with spiritual depth, helping people not just “return to baseline,” but to step into new possibilities of mind, body, energy, and spirit.

At the core of my practice is respect: I meet each person where they are, honoring their unique beliefs and creating a safe, non-judgmental space to explore, heal, and grow.

Psychedelics

Psychedelics open our consciousness for new and multidimensional exploration, while also granting access to our subconsciousness, our body, our energy, and our spirit. My approach to working with psychedelics honors and respects this process of opening, and views this as just one phase in the transformative process.

We start by priming the system with the tools of meditation, mindfulness, breath, yoga, group therapy, and vibrational therapy, so that we can safely navigate the deepest parts of our psyche, and return to these tools following the psychedelic journey in order to cement patterns of true and lasting change.

The psychedelic we will use is ketamine.  It is a very safe anesthetic I am familiar with from the ER and it has grown in popularity due to its remarkable efficacy in treating depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

Science

As a former academic physician and assistant professor, I bring the rigor of Western medical science to every treatment, ensuring safety, efficacy, and integrity. In the world of psychedelics and psychotherapy, not everything is proven—but I hold myself to the highest clinical standards.

Ketamine stands out as one of the safest and most effective options available today. Studies consistently show that 70–90% of patients respond to ketamine treatment, compared to 30–60% with standard antidepressants. Even more striking, 60–80% of those who respond report long-term remission of symptoms, versus just 5–15% in traditional therapy.

If you’d like to dive into the research yourself, here are a few key studies:

Psychotherapy

Through IFS, shadow work, and CBT, we safely explore the hidden parts of ourselves—the fears, impulses, and patterns that quietly shape our lives. These “shadows” often drive addiction, self-sabotage, and disconnection. By meeting them with compassion and forgiveness, we release their grip and restore harmony within—and in our relationships with others.

Every tool we use is one you’ll learn to carry into daily life. The goal isn’t endless therapy—it’s empowering you to become your own strongest ally and healer.

Spirituality

At the root, spiritual practice is meant to show you your vast perfection beyond the simple mind and body you might believe yourself to be.  Seeing beyond your thoughts and attachments is hard, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.

Together, we'll work with the tools of the breath, sound, meditation, tantra, and vedanta to help us gain presence and see beyond what we thought was possible!  A life of your own making!

Every session with empower you with specific tools to use on your personal journey to practice in your daily life.
